The UK is in deep self imposed shit that’s simply incomprehensible from the other side of the pond. I do understand that the exact same view of the US is probably felt by those overseas. What I simply don’t understand is the lack of freedom of speech, the kowtowing to Muslim immigrants and especially the seeming tolerance of the rape of your daughters. What the fuck has happened to the country of Shakespeare and Churchill? When will you show some pride in your long heritage?
Agree with most of what’s said. However proportional representation and its numerous forms and modified systems has absolutely nothing to improve our democracy. It hands politicians too much power, just look at the recent German federal election. The government formed is a dogs breakfast with the badly defeated SPD back in government with 16% of the vote(for clarity if I was German I would vote SDP a sister party of the Labour party which I proudly belong) PR ultimately just shuffle the cards and strokes the over inflated egos of the politicians as they stitch up undemocratic deals to form back scratching arrangements of who’s in government . Our system needs massive improvement. ie voter turnout and regular boundaries reviews. There is a need for real and powerful devolution, ie more directly elected Mayors.

Whatever happens ( for me our civilisation is going through late stage Usury/ crushed by debt + late stage Liberalism ) OUR PEOPLE need our own political representation and a vision for the future.
